5th September - Congratulations to Pauline on winning the inaugural 2 Rivers FITA Star (Chepstow) Ladies Compound and Dave coming second in the Men's Compound

4th September - GWAS Junior Inter-counties Champions - Congratulations to Angela Keen and Rory Wybrow who were part of the DWAA Junior Team managed by Dave Jones, who won the Grand Western Archery Society Junior Inter-counties 2010, held at Burnham, by a large points margin.

8th August - Bath Hereford Success - Congratulations to Linda, 1st Lady Recurve, Pauline, 1st lady Compound (6th time), Angela, 1st Junior Lady and Linda, Pauline and Angela won the Team Trophy.

1st August - Congratulations to Linda Keen on being 1st County Lady Recurve at the Salisbury double 720metre Shoot.

26th July - Congratulations to Pauline on becoming a Grand Master Bowman. Pauline was looking forward to the UK Premier Series event at Andover last weekend as she already had two GMB scores this season (which is 1342 for a Ladies FITA) and like buses they came in pairs as she shoot a PB 1352 on the Saturday and then bettered it on the Sunday with 1362, and ended up in creditable 11th place in this very high quality field

22nd July - The AGM took place last night and the Club Membership Fees for the Club year are now due (along with a completed Renewal Form) the Membership Rate has been set the same as last year i.e. £55 (before any applicable Concessions are applied, link to Concessions Calculator). The home page has been updated to reflect that the Club now has a new Chairman, Lynda Moss and a new Secretary Phil Kerley. GNAS Members are reminded that the GNAS fee of £43 (to cover the period 1/10/2010 to 30/9/2011) is required to be paid to the Secretary in August.

5th July - Congratulations to Angela for coming 10th on the first day of the National Junior Championships and improving to 9th on day two, despite what sounds like terrible conditions for a Tournament for it seems like not only did Targets get blown over but Archers too!

5th July- Congratulations to Elliot for coming 1st Gents Compound in the inaugural Chippenham Archers Friendly Western and to Rory for getting right in amongst the Recurve adults. (results)

21st June- Dunster Success (Select here for a Dunster view) - Congratulations to Pauline who came 2nd in the Somerset County Champs, 2nd in the Dunster FITA, 1st in the Dunster Albion with a new Regional Record, 2nd in the Dunster Western and crowned her week by coming 1st in the GWAS Championship Weekend Double Hereford and hence became the Grand Western Archery Society Outdoor Ladies Compound Champion for 2010 (results)

19 May - Club Salisbury FITA Success - 1st Lady Recurve - Linda; 1st Lady Compound - Pauline; Metric II 1st Jnr Lady - Angela; Metric II 1st Jnr Gent - Benji; Metric III 1st Jnr Gent - Rory and the Mixed Team award - Linda, Pauline, Mike H-R and Rory. Special mention of Lynda Moss who, despite only picking up a Compound 3 weeks ago didn't talk the talk on Archery but walked the walk by shooting a Ladies FITA, respect. (results)

28th Mar - FITA 25 Metre - Congratulations - In a FITA 25m Head to Head qualifier Round in Newport Wales, Pauline set both a new County and Regional Record for the FITA 25 metre Round with a score of 565

22nd Mar - Civil Service Championships - Congratulations - 'Chairman' Mike became Men's Compound Champion with a great score of 575 for a Portsmouth Round

1st Mar - County Indoor - Congratulations! - Pauline was Ladies Compound Champion, setting new County and Regional Records, Angela was Under 18 Girls Recurve Champion and overall highest scoring girl, and Rory was Under 15 Boys Recurve Champion and Linda was 3rd Lady Recurve.
